About the role

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant / Office Manager to assist our Chief Executive Officer and to to create an inviting, professional and fun office environment for the team.

Your day will be varied and include

  • Manage the diary of the CEO
  • Coordinate travel arrangements
  • Organise and prepare for meetings
  • Draft, review and send internal and external communication
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming calls
  • Point of call for all facilities maintenance requests, coordinate trades people, cleaners
  • Maintain general tidiness of the office, conference rooms and meeting rooms
  • Manage and organise office repairs
  • Maintain office supplies, arrange office use refreshments
  • Provide the local office induction and welcome for new starters to the team
  • Manage, order and distribute company uniforms
  • Assist with coordinating special events, sporting events and team building activities for the local office
  • Arrange flowers, leaving gifts and other recognition for the Auckland Office

About you

A team player with a positive, proactive attitude, you'll bring excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a customer-centric outlook, you'll add value to the team through your:

  • Ability to build constructive positive relationships
  • Previous experience in an office management or executive assistant role
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Suite of products
  • Excellent time management, planning and organisation skills
  • Initiative and experience to create a professional, effective and fun environment
  • Eye for detail
