IT Support Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a IT Support Engineer to join Kuala Lumpur based team. Come and be part of our team responsible for supporting Daifuku Oceania users, systems, hardware and software applications. Your hands-on technical approach will contribute to your success in this customer focused role.

Working Conditions

Hours of work: Full Time, Monday to Friday (In Office)

Travel requirements: Occasional Travel may be required

Key responsibilities

  • Provide day to day IT support for Daifuku Oceania Group employees and customers globally
  • Document and maintain corporate IT policies
  • Provide remote support, action Help Tickets
  • License Reporting
  • Software deployments
  • Manage mobile phones and connections
  • End user stock management for KL, NZ and Australia
  • Assist in identifying alternative solutions for end user licensed programs
  • Exchange Administration - AD, Security Groups, Group Policy, etc
  • Manage shipping for IT staff and site equipment
  • Staff onboarding & offboarding - IT equipment and access

Requirements

Our ideal candidate should possess minimum degree in Computer Science or equivalent with working experience up to 3 years' in similar IT role.

  • Qualifications & Experience
    • Proven experience providing remote request and incident support along with problem management
    • Azure & O365 experience
  • Knowledge & Skills
    • Excellent verabal communication skills
    • A clear understanding of engineering problems, root cause analysis and potential solutions
    • Good understanding of Microsoft applications & computer system
