About the Role

These roles are responsible for maintaining and conducting rotational 16-hour preventative maintenance and breakdown response across our automated freight handling equipment. Additional responsibilities include providing operational monitoring of the equipment under their control.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Completing scheduled preventative maintenance
  • Responding and rectifying breakdown maintenance
  • Monitoring live operational equipment
  • Continuous improvement of the system and processes

About you:

You will have gained experience as a Mechanical fitter, holding a trade qualification.

You will have the passion to challenge system breakdowns, fault find and think outside the square.
The willingness and desire to uphold and maintain a safe environment, whilst still maintaining the ability to work autonomously.


  • Mechanical trade qualification
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Hands on experience in troubleshooting
  • Experience with conveyors preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong safety culture and beliefs
  • EWP license preferred

Other information:

  • Full-time position
  • Rotational shift work between 5am to 9pm weekdays
  • Willingness to work paid overtime
