Daifuku Oceania, a global leader in automation, is seeking an experienced Quality Superintendent to become a key member of our dedicated Factory Quality team based in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.

As a Quality Superintendent, you will play a vital role in overseeing the quality control staff and managing quality-related activities. Your expertise will ensure that all operations comply with applicable specifications, codes, and regulations, while upholding the high-quality standards established in our contracts.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Plan and supervise QC team activities, assigning tasks to technicians and inspectors in alignment with production schedules.
• Manage QC inspection equipment, facilities, calibration, and laboratory operations.
• Establish and oversee QC procedures for incoming and outgoing products.
• Analyze and address the quality of parts and products, including handling non-conformance items.
• Assist in the preparation and certification of ISO documentation.
• Monitor incoming materials and collaborate with suppliers to ensure production needs are met.
• Allocate QC manhours by project to achieve targeted outcomes.
• Lead the management of non-conformance reports (NCR) in accordance with established guidelines.
• Provide reports on quality control progress, supplier audits, and continuous improvements.

Your Skills & Experience

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Manufacturing, Production, or Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Process Control, Quality Audits, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or as a Lean Engineer.
• Expertise in Quality Engineering and Supplier Improvement & Audits.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Knowledge of inspection tools and the 7 QC Tools.
• Experience with Baggage Handling System products is a plus.
