About the role

The immediate opportunity is for an Logistics Coordinator to join the team in our Hallam facility. In this key role, you are responsible for the day to day operations at our Hallam facility including stock control, receiving and dispatching goods, record keeping and reporting.

This position will provide you the opportunity to collaborate with and liaise across teams and suppliers, you'll provide physical warehousing and procurement support, ensuring timely and efficient operations.

With a focus on supprting the Operations and Maintenance team, you will:

  • Receive, inspect and store incoming goods including spare parts, ready for delivery to site
  • Arrange shipments for materials to required locations, locally and internationally
  • Manage and maintain the company's material and non-stock inventory in physical locations and the ERP system
  • Work with relevant teams to identify opportunities to reduce inventory holdings
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of the company's stock holdings via cycle counts of stock
  • Produce regular reports on inventory performance
  • Ensure critical areas of the stock system are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved
  • Support procurement and purchasing activities, including the creation of purchase orders and liaison with suppliers

About You

Keen to progress your career in logistics, you'll bring experience in warehousing. You'll be familiar with MRP, inventory control systems, and ERP inventory management - ideally this will include engineering or maintenance spare parts buying experience. You'll have a high level of computer literacy, attention to detail, and a safety-first approach.

You like to 'think outside the square' when resolving challenges, enjoy working across teams, and like finding improvement opportunities to streamline processes for the best possible outcomes.
