Procurement Administrator

Join our Procurement team as a Procurement Administrator based in Auckland.

About the Role:

  • Maintain database records of daily incoming/outgoing shipments for the Auckland warehouse operations
  • Receive and distribute stock to assigned projects
  • Inventory Management
  • Work with the Project team to support project timelines
  • Assist with consolidation and packing of project shipments

Responsibilities include:

  • Receiving, moving, checking, and storing incoming goods
  • Checking and inspecting goods received and ensuring they are of accurate quantity and prescribed quality
  • Check goods against purchase orders and receipt goods into the Company Intranet
  • Packaging and labeling products before they are dispatched
  • Helping with shipping of materials to project locations
  • Picking and packing products
  • Selecting space for storage and arranging for goods to be placed in the designated areas
  • Making sure that all inventory processes are completed on the same day
  • Loading and unloading of materials from delivery vehicles
  • Maintaining and servicing warehouse tools and machinery
  • Labeling goods that have arrived at the warehouse.
  • Operating a forklift and other standard warehouse equipment
  • Contacting transport companies and coordinating dispatch and delivery with them
  • Moving and organising stock

About You:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment including stock management, delivery of products, and stock taking
  • A high degree of general computer skills including various MS office packages
  • Excellent numeracy, and literacy skills
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy packages and objects
  • Ability to follow processes and procedures accurately
  • Knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical parts would be an advantage
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Enjoy computer work
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels

Other information:

  • Operating a forklift and other standard warehouse equipment advantage
  • Full Driver's License
  • Have a strong technical skills bias
  • Flexibility towards working hours including availability to work outside of business hours if required
